SEPHORA PRODUCTS I LOVE / ITEMS TO CONSIDER FOR THE UPCOMING SALE

Sephora is having a big sale coming up starting April 17, and a few of you reached out asking what products were my favorite, so I decided to compile a list! Full disclosure this is a bit of a drive by post to beat the clock (I really wanted it to go live so you could ponder what you wanted) so apologies in advance for typos (there will be many). Off the top of my head here are my fave products from Sephora please feel free to comment below and share yours 🙂

DISCLAIMER: this is not sponsored though some items I’ve suggested have been gifted to me in the past as always all opinions expressed are my own.

FAVE SEPHORA PRODUCTS

Fave Brushes

I use both these duo brushed EVERY single day, from the powder and blush brush which I use for bronzer and blush to the crease and lid eye shadow brush I CANNOT recommend these brushes enough. First of all they are great, have held up really well, and do the job you need them to, secondly it makes applying your makeup so easy because there is no guess work you know exactly what you’re using and for what 🙂 Lastly they never shed. I have a huge pet peave about brushes that shed lol and these don’t!!

Classic Double Ended – Powder & Blush” -the powder side is great for bronzer, and then you just flip it around for blush it’s so easy.

Eye Shadow Crease Brush“. Again keeping things super easy you know exactly which brush to use, there’s no guess work.

Color Switch Brush Cleaner

Clearly not a disinfectant, BUT if you’re switching colors you might like this color switch brush cleaner it’s great, and so easy all you do is run your brushes over the material inside and it’s like magic the product residue is gone! I love this little thing so much especially when I’m changing up eye shadows, but want to use the same brush. It’s a must!

Kerastase Blond Absolu Heat Protecting Serum

My fave fave hair product for blondes! If you color your hair blonde like I do you will LOVE this Blond Absolu product from Kerastase! I’m obsessed. It’s hydrates, tones, and heat protects in one. I love it because it doesn’t weigh my hair down, or make it feel greasy but definitely still feels nourished and protected. The shampoo and conditioner in this line are also lovely.

It Cosmetics Lash Blow Out Mascara

After a long stint with lash extensions I was happy to know the Blow Out Mascara has biotin in it! Developed in partnership with Drybar, this It Cosmetics product “promotes stronger, healthier-looking lashes”. It’s also free of parabens and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances. I love this mascara because it does a great job at providing volume but it doesn’t run or transfer, I also find it less messy to remove. You do have to get in there a bit before it’ll budge, but once you do it comes off pretty quick, and doesn’t leave a residue.

Anything From Laneige

Y’all know I LOVE Laneige it’s by far one of my favorite skincare brands! Super light weight hydration and skin plumping?? Sign me up. Products I love love love are the water sleeping masks (the lavender is lovely), and the glowy lip blam I use it every single day it’s hydrating, and plumping my friend actually asked if I got lip injections when I was wearing it one day I was like “WHAT it’s a lip gloss” lol I also really want to try the new glowy makeup serum and the sheet masks! Shop all Laneige products here.

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

I love the foundations from Make Up For Ever, I’d used the liquid foundation, as well as the stick foundation (I love the stick for travel or when I’m feeling lazy it goes on like butter it’s 1000% my favorite stick foundation), as well as their new product Roboot which is a lighter coverage foundation with a bunch of skin boosting properties is really nice too especially on days when you want some coverage but not too much. I love how it’s so nourishing.

“This foundation is ideal for normal to dry skin types and nurtures tired-looking skin over time by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and increasing hydration for up to 24 hours. After using, skin will appear plumper and smoother, while a radiant, satin finish leaves the complexion looking flawless.”

Eye Shadow

I love the Sephora Pro Palettes, and that they make it super easy because they group them into categories “warm” or “cool”, but I also don’t think you can go wrong with either Huda or Charlotte Tilbury I love these blush pink and copper tones! If you’re curious about trying the bold color trends try this rainbow palette from Violet Voss.

Milk Flex Highlight

I recently purchased the Milk Flex Highlight product in the shade “lit” (you can see me use it this Bold Green Eyeshadow video). I am obsessed with this product I love it so much it’s so pigmented, but in the best way possible and it doesn’t settle in creases it somehow moves with your skin (I LOVE IT). It’s worth the hype for sure. It’s also a clean product so it’s “free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances, and is also vegan and cruelty-free”.

Glow Recipe Blueberry Cleanser + Watermelon Pink Moisturizer

I love a squeaky clean cleanser that can actually remove my makeup, and I have to say I’ve been pretty impressed with this Blueberry Gentle Cleanser from Glow Recipe, I also love the Watermelon Pink Oil Free Moisturizer it smells EXACTLY like watermelons like real watermelons it’s lovely and light. It’s great before makeup. Both products are also clean certified by Sephora.

Clarins Glow Drops

Add a glow to your skin without the hassle of a self tanner. I love the Clarin’s Glow Drops, and fun fact if you purchase the body one it’s a bigger size and a much better value, and you can use it for both your face and body. I love using this to add a subtle glow to my skin, and you can add it to so many products.

Self Tanner

I love St Tropez sunless tanning products I’ve been using them for years, but by far my favorite are the mousses because it’s just so much easier to apply (and not make so much of a mess).  The express verison is great because you can do an hour or three depending on how dark you want it, and you don’t have to go to sleep feeling sticky (or ruin your sheets).

Givenchy Prisme Libre Setting Powder

By far my favorite setting powder, and albeit a splurge, and maybe not for your everyday, but loose powders will last you a surprisingly long time. I love the various shades in the Givenchy Prisme Libre Setting Powder and how they work together. Heads up: it is scented so if you have sensitivities, otherwise I LOVE this product. The Sephora brand Setting Powder  is also really great, and it’s much more affordable, so great for every day use.

The Ordinary

Such a great brand and only available online at Sephora (never in store so this is the perfect opportnity to add them to your order. My faves are their hyaluronic acid a little goes a long way, and the cold pressed organic rose seed hip oil (I loveeeeee this product for my night time routine, it’s so soothing so great for redness and uneven skin tone). Because we are currently inside more you might consider using a retinol product at night, and if you do go outside make sure you’re wearing a sunscreen.
