Bold eye shadow is a huge beauty trend right now, and I have to say I am HERE for it. I know these are strange times with everything that’s going on, but there’s something about applying makeup that helps me feel like there’s some semblance of normalcy through all of this. Also it’s just fun to play dress up even it’s it’s for “no reason” at all.
Recently I’ve been rocking this look on my instagram stories (@SHORTPRESENTS), and I wanted to share a little break down of how I achieve this super fun look. Be sure to catch the video, application instructions, and all the product details below xx

APPLICATION + PRODUCT INFO
STEP 1: Coverage
Follow your regular skincare routine, and start with a good base of foundation, concealer, and setting powder as you normally would.
PRODUCT: YSL All-in-One Glow Foundation, Catrice “Liquid Camouflage High Coverage” Concealer, and Givenchy Prisme Libra powder.
STEP 2: Brozner + Blush
With a fluffy brush start with bronzer apply under cheek bones, and blend back into hair line. Apply in the “3” motion starting at the temples coming in a at the cheeks and then under the jaw line. Blend blend blend. I love this brozner because it’s matte, and I’ve had great results with the shades as well.
PRODUCT: Rimmel Bronzer – Sephora brush “201” Brush (Powder side).
Apply blush to the apples of the cheeks, and blend back into bronzer so everything blends.
PRODUCT: Catrice Blush + Sephora “201” Brush.
Lightly spritz a setting spray all over your face.
STEP 3: Glowy Dewy Skin
PRODUCT: Pixi Beauty Rose Glow Mist.
Apply highlight to the cheek bones and try not to allow the product to get into your under eye area.
PRODUCT: Milk Flex Highlight in “Lit” + Sephora brush #204″ (pointy side).
Apply facial oil gently over your makeup by pressing into the skin to create a dewy glowy look but still maintain good coverage.
Product: Juice Beauty Replenishing Oil.
STEP 4: Eyes
Apply shadow until the crease of your eye lid, feel free to do a few coats to get a pigmented look.
PRODUCT: Sephora Glacial Glow Palette + Sephora Brush #205 (flat end).
Apply liner along your upper lash line.
PRODUCT: Lise Waiter Intense Waterproof liner in “Marine Intense”.
Apply thick coat of mascara (bottom lashes optional).
PRODUCT: It Cosmetics Lash Blow Out Mascara.
STEP 5: Lips
Because the focus is on the eyes I like to keep my lips pretty basic so simply pply your favorite neutral lipgloss or nude lippie and away you go (out to the kitchen lol) Please #stayhome
PRODUCT: Catrice Plump & Shine.
