‘DO SOMETHING TODAY THAT YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU FOR’
Are you thinking about tomorrow? I mean really thinking about your tomorrow. I don’t mean the endless piles of laundry you need to do, or that baby shower you need to attend, or that presentation you have to have ready for your boss by Monday. I mean are you seriously thinking about your financial tomorrow??
Among all the avocado toast and fancy cappuccinos, us millennials can get a bad rap for “living in the moment” too much and not properly preparing for our future. Let’s do something about that shall we??
Personally I’ve been investing since I was in high school. It’s something that I’ve always been very keen to do (mostly because I grew up with a very independent single mother so I think I learned the value of a dollar pretty quick and likewise the importance to save some of it for tomorrow). I didn’t have the luxury of having someone send me to school; I completely supported myself through not one, but two degrees, and worked all of eight different jobs to do so.
“We all know we should be saving our money, whether it’s for retirement, or a house of our own, a renovation, a car, or even for your child’s future education. Investments are just a smart idea, but they are also VERY intimidating”.
With so many investment options it’s overwhelming at best, which is why I’m super excited to be partnering today with my friends at RBC InvestEase to chat with you not only about the importance of saving for tomorrow, but also a really cool tool they just launched in November tohelp you get started. We’ll be checking our excuses at the door in today’s post because RBC InvestEase has made it SO easy to get started on investing for tomorrow.
I’ve been an RBC customer for YEARS, and I’m SO SO excited about their new online investment management service that helps Canadian investors reach their financial goals. I mean, just wait until you hear how easy they make it!
Making investments more approachable than ever, RBC InvestEase will help you get started right now so you can start accumulating some serious investments for your future. I know I know, but investments are one of those things we know we should all be doing, but I also get that it just seems like too big of a hurdle to climb, or perhaps you are so scared you’ll make the wrong decision, so you just don’t make any. THESE ARE ALL VALID CONCERNS! I hearyou, but let’s work through it together.
RBC InvestEase makes it easy for Canadians to access investment advice online and brings convenience, speed and simplicity to Canadians’ busy lifestyles.

I DON’T HAVE TIME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
We’re all busy and adding one other meeting or appointment to the day sometimes just isn’t a reality. What’s great and the RBC InvestEase is that it’s available online to all Canadians and can be accessed from the comfort of your home or when you are on the go.
HOW DOES RBC INVESTEASE WORK?
→ Once your account is open and funded, RBC InvestEase builds a portfolio comprised of low-cost ETFs (exchange-traded funds) and manages it for you.
→ From there, your portfolio is continuously monitored and automatically rebalanced to help keep you on track. You can check your progress online, at your convenience.
→ RBC InvestEase also provides you with access to a team of live, accredited Portfolio Advisors if you have any questions, or need advice or insights.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
You will pay only 0.5% per year in management fees on your investment balances. RBC is also waiving the management fee for 6 months if you sign up by June 16, 2019 so now’s the time to get started.
WHAT I LOVED ABOUT RBC INVESTEASE
What I’ve always loved about RBC is that their online software is so easy to navigate. I’m never wondering where to click for something or if I did everything correctly because it’s always outlined so well. Which I think is very important when it comes to doing anything with your money. I’ve always enjoyed my RBC experiences and the RBC InvestEase was no different. Appropriately named they really do make investing easy, so there’s no excuse to not get started.
Just remember that putting away now will turn into something big later, and the sooner you start the sooner it starts to accumulate.
Once you answer the questionnaire they kind of take over from there which is amazingly helpful I mean who has time to be switching things up all the time, and watching for trends?? I love the comfort of having someone assisting me, and continuing to work for me behind the scenes.

Many investment companies can offer a profile that has ethical filters. For example, many who invest are clueless to the fact they’re investing in weapons or companies with alarming human rights or environmental violations. We may have an ethical filter when we shop as consumers, why not as investors? My suggestion is to ask your broker to let you know what options are available.
