While wearing this outfit (head to toe from Reitmans) I got hit on at the grocery store, an employee at the mall told my outfit reminded her of Audrey Hepburn, and not one but multiple people complimented me on my shirt! Safe to say it was a hit, and it couldn’t have been more comfortable. I truly felt like I was wearing pajamas.

 

WHAT I’M WEARING

Coat, Top, and Trousers: c/o Reitmans

 

I’m obsessed with this coat! It’s so perfect for fall. Did you know that it was designed by Canadian designers??

If anyone knows Canadian weather it’d be someone who lives here. While our weather here in Halifax is all over the place at best this coat is great to tackle our ever flucuating tempertures.

This coat looks great bundled up, love the neckline for those chilly mornings/evenings, but draps really nicely when left open for those mild to warm afternoons that we’re so accustomed to on the East Coast.

I love the soft knit fabric combined with the leather trim details. It’s like cozy meets chic!

If you’re looking for the perfect work pant. Look no further. As I mentioned above these trousers feel like wearing the pajamas. The pants have this slinky texture to them that’s doesnt seem to wrinkle when you’re seated for a while (I mean hello this never happens). They sit at a great spot (just at the hip) and come up over my booty (which let’s be real we can be a struggle), they have pockets, a cute little tie? What’s not to love seriously?

For size reference I got a size 4 in the trousers, and they fit quite nicely.

Finding a blouse that fits your arms, and the girls at the same time, and doesn’t tug at the buttons can be impossbile. Cue the Reitmans Challis Printed Blouse. Don’t be afraid to size down as it does have an oversized fit, and does loosen a bit. For size reference I got the XS, but I probably could have gotten away with the XXS I’m quite petite on top.

 

When it comes to work wear I would definitely suggest getting yourself into a sharp coat; it’s the first thing people see, and the thing you’re going to wear the most! Having some blouses and pants that you can rely on time and time again will save you the stress of having to think too much about your outfits in the morning when lets be real you really want to thinking about making a cup of coffee.
