A cute dress, some summer sun, and a cold lemonade you really can’t ask for anything better for strolls around the city.

It feels like summer could actually be just around the corner. We’ve had a couple really warm days here in Halifax, and to say I’m excited to sport some sumer frocks again is an understatement. This dress (Minkpink via local Sweet Pea Boutique) is such an easy go-to for me. There’s something about it’s bright bold color and pattern that instantly lifts my mood, and it’s billowy shape instills the perfect summer carefree vibe.

While the lack of planning needed for outfits for summer is definitely something to be celebrated. I mean toss on a dress, and a pair of shoes and you are good to go girl. To celebrate the prospect of summer we’ve teamed up with Wendy’s to offer you dearest blog readers your own taste of summer!
Wendy’s has recently introduced new, a Premium Lemonade made with real fruit, as a permanent item on their menu, and it’s sooooooo delicious I want you to try it too. Made with cane sugar it’s just the right amount of sweetness and tart.
Who doesn’t love a good refreshing glass of lemonade when the weather gets hot? Available in old-fashioned original and strawberry, it’s the perfect way to embrace the warm weather. And they are also launching a limited edition Blackberry Lemonade (a blend of real blackberry puree with the classic lemonade – only available this July) that I can’t wait to try. I wish more places would make and offer old fashioned lemonades and iced teas. They really are such a treat!
