|Fashion Friday “Outfit Inspo”: Satin and Lace|
For today’s fashion friday post I am wearing a 1920s vintage dress coat. The following shots are from my Fancy Lucky Vintage shoot. This beautiful Edwardian lace jacket is a show stopper, and if you can believe it, it is even more impeccable in person. I love the sharp black detailing against the delicate beige lace; it is the full expression of elegance and grace.
This beautiful Edwardian lace jacket is available for purchase simply by going to: http://www.etsy.com/listing/73369373/1910s-1920s-vintage-lace-dress-coat
Fancy Lucky Vintage is also host to dozens of lace satin slips. I am a sucker for slips, I think I must have been born in the wrong era because I simply adore the clothing of the past. There’s something about slipping into the delicate fabric of a satin slip that makes me feel effeminate. I don’t know if it is because my mother always dressed me up as a kid, or all the Sundays going to church in my Sunday best, but I definitely feel the most comfortable and most confident in a dress. Oh Winter when will you be distant memory?
Until then, stockings and tights will have to do.
Au revoir mes cheries!
