A COMICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL W/ RHYS BEVAN JOHN

Are you looking for a laugh out loud hysterical time? Whether you’re looking to bring a date, or your entire family, this year’s Off The Leash production of Dicken’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ running from Dec 19-26th at The Neptune Theatre Studio is intimately hilarious and brilliantly inclusive.

From breaking down the 4th wall with direct questions to the audience to clever breaks in character, Rhys Bevan John has done well to make this play (adapted and directed by Jeremy Webb) his own. While I won’t give away too much about this actor’s unconventional and unpredictable methods I will say he does well to use the entire theater space.
From quick costume changes, and even quicker voice changes to perfectly orchestrated comedic timing this one man play (with the exception of a puppeteer) really showcases Rhys Bevan John talent and wide range as a performer; while, the modern references made Dickens’ story originally published 1843 vastly accessible to the contemporary audience.
