If you find your self in the Port Hood area, Port Hood Beach is a must place to visit. The sand expands for miles, and miles, and it’s a great place to take children because there’s no drop off or crazy scary under tow. If you’re there late enough in the afternoon the tide will go out and you can dig into the sand and find all kinds of sea creatures. Below are some photos from my recent visit to the beach with some family.
Hope you are having a lovely summer and are getting out to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine.
Sincerely,
Short Presents.

Also if you find yourself in the Cape Breton area along the Cabot Trail are AMAZING places to swim. Ingonish Beach has both a lake and sea water, Black Brook is amazing for boogie boarding or just plain body surfing. Mary Ann Falls is a great waterfall that you'll find locals jumping off rocks into the big pool of fresh water. I usually jump of the second highest rocks lol too old for the big jumps now that I know what can happen haha 🙂 just kidding it's very deep so it's safe. Cold, but safe.
much love,
