If so, you’re going to LOVE the Secret Nova Scotia Tastes of Tatamagouche Food Tour. Recently I was invited for a media preview, and this tour did not disappoint.

DISCLAIMER: This post is in partnership with Secret Nova Scotia; however, all opinions expressed are my own. I feel so unbelievably grateful to work with businesses in my province along side so many of my fellow influencers to share our genuine love and appreciation for our home with each and every one of you.

From sipping delicious craft beer at Tatamagouche Brewery Company, crisp Nova Scotia wines at Jost, and the unique spirits at Raging Crow Distillery complimented by the rich flavors of chowder and ice cream; your taste buds are in for a real treat!

WHERE DOES THE TOUR START?

For the tour, the lovely tour guide from Secret Nova Scotia will pick you up at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Truro NS, and whisk you away for the day to the many tastes of Tatamagouche.

You can also opt to stay the night, at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Truro be sure to ask about the special discount rate for doing the tour! We opted to spend the night, and it was SO convenient, as the hotel is the pick up, and drop off location for the tour! It was definitely a relaxing stay. We booked the pool during check in, so we came back from the tour, grabbed some dinner nearby, and had a nice refreshing dip in the pool! Room, and service were great, as well as the breakfast the next morning. Couldn’t have been more convenient!

HOW LONG IS THE TOUR?

This tour is approximately 7 hours, leaving at 10 am and returning to the Hampton Inn at 5 pm, with Tatamagouche being approximately 45 mins from starting point.

WHERE DO YOU STOP?

We had so much fun trying all the foods, and drinks on the tour.

During the tour you also have the opportunity to purchase items from the local businesses, and they are kind enough to offer a discount, so it’s a great opportunity to stock up and support local!

There’s a cooler in the car, so you can safely store your food items while you do the tour. PRO TIP: You might also consider bringing a little tote to keep all your non-perishable items organized since Nova Scotia is currently plastic bag free 🙂

You also get 3 complimentary beers from Tatamagouche Brewing Co! How fun right? I loved the guava!

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE ?

We had a great time I loved learning about all the local businesses, and trying all the food and drinks. Tatamagouche has such a vibrant food and drink scene it was really fun to explore an area I wasn’t super familiar with.

It was great to have the guide to ask questions, and take you around, so you could just enjoy the experience while not having to worry about maps or where you were going.

It’s really a great service Secret Nova Scotia is offering. We had a blast. It’s clear there’s been a lot of work that has gone into planning this seamless experience, definitely recommend. From boat tours to mud sliding, there are a number of other tours available, so definitely pop over to the Secret Nova Scotia website to book and learn more! SecretNovaScotia.ca

Thanks so much for having us Secret Nova Scotia, and the Hampton Inn & Suites. We had so much fun!! Shout out to @EatWithShannon for these stunning images.
