Niagara Falls

WHERE WE STAYED

During our weekend in Niagara falls we stayed at the Hilton Niagara /Fallsview Hotel & Suites, and it was the perfect location and I mean, look at this view from our room!!!!

The Hilton Niagara couldn’t have been more perfect, and I’m sure the only way we could afford this spectacular view is because we booked with Expedia. Having booked our flights to Toronto we unlocked some amazing deals for hotels in Niagara.

HOW YOU CAN SAVE MONEY ON YOUR TRAVEL BOOKINGS WITH EXPEDIA

Who doesn’t want to save money on their travel?? I love traveling but the costs certainly do add up pretty quick. Sometimes it can be overwhelming with all the options out there for booking trips, but I can honestly say I have had some amazing luck with Expedia. Recently I discovered the Expedia Add-On Advantage which rewards you for what you love to do most: travel.

When you book a flight through Expedia you instantly unlock special deals for hotels, car rentals with their Add-On Advantage. How amazing is that?

Because y’all might be new to it, I decided to break it down for you REAL simple so you know exactly how to lock in those deals.

If you are new to Expedia follow the instructions below to ensure you unlock your Add-On Advantage savings:

Step 1: Go to Expedia.ca and log in or create a free account.

Step 2: Shop for and book any flight, car rental or package (note: keep in mind you’ll be returning later to lock in your hotel at a discount with the Add-On Advantage – so don’t book one yet!).

Step 3: When you’re ready to book your hotel, return to Expedia.ca, log in and browse hotel deals in your destination. Look for hotels with the “Add-On Advantage” badge and choose the perfect hotel at the perfect price.

You can save up to 50% on select hotels up until the day of your trip date giving you plenty of time to find the right one.

For our summer getaway together we decided to book a trip to Nigara Falls I’d never been before and I kind of have a thing for waterfalls.

Booking with Expedia was so easy! I found a number of hotel and bed and breakfast options for us, and we were trying to decide if we wanted to stay in Niagara On the Lake or at Niagara Falls. Ultimately we decided to stay at Niagara Falls I mean how could you beat this view???

The Expedia Add-On Advantage really takes the pressure off planning and paying for your entire trip all at once. I don’t know about you but I can be kind of wishy washy when planning, not to mention the financial stress of EVERYTHING coming out at once. Having the time to pick and choose the right one is SO helpful.

I’ll admit I’m pretty self sufficient at planning trips (I do it quite regularly), but recently we’ve been SO busy with renovations, weddings, and other press trips that I really just didn’t have the time (or head space) to strategically plot everything out or look around for deals. Booking with Expedia was such a saving grace because it really made the planning SOOOO easy having been able to do it all in one convenient place.

WHAT WE DID

There’s so much to do in Niagara, and of course going to the see the falls is a top priority, but there’s so much more to discover. We have to say a huge thank you to Tourism Niagara for kindly gifting us adventure passes so we could visit the attractions, as well as the WE GO bus pass; we were able to do and see so much in such a short period of time. Here’s a glimpse of all the things we did during our weekend in Niagara, and I’ve linked all the spots we went to so you can learn more and plan your itinerary too.

FLORAL SHOWHOUSE

WHIRLPOOL AERO CAR

JOURNEY BEHIND THE FALLS

EXPLORE THE MANY ATTRACTIONS AT CLIFTON HILL

BUTTERFLY CONSERVATORY

WHITE WATER WALK

THE HORNBLOWER NIAGARA CRUISES / FIREWORKS CRUISE

VISIT THE MANY NIAGARA ON THE LAKE WINERIES AND DISTILLERIES

We had SO much exploring all things Niagara Falls I would definitely recommend making the trip! While I loved all our activities, one I would highly suggest you don’t miss is the Aero Car! It was absolutely mind blowing to be up that high and really see just how powerful the rapids are coming from Niagara Falls. I would do it all again in a heart beat. We had an absolute blast.

Hope you enjoyed today’s post and travel tips ! If you have any other questions you know where to reach me.

xx
