If you’re looking for a alternative to having coffee (not sure exactly why you’d want to do that but I know y’all are out there) this Turmeric Tonic is gives you a great boost of energy with ZERO caffiene and bonus it’s AMAZING for your nervous system.
Studies have shown that turmeric because it’s super high in antioxidants, and anti-inflamatory properties it may also help ward off heart attacks, strokes, alzheimer’s, and reduce inflammation in the body. Um… hello super amazing sunshine in a cup??
Turmeric Tonic also SUPER easy to make you likely already have all the ingredients at home. I find it’s great to have at the 3pm slump to keep me going throughout the day. I always hit a wall at that time.
And if you’re worried turmeric will stain your teeth it only stains your clothes, and well your counter, and your hands if you touch it lol Let’s just try to aim to get most of it in the cup. haha but don’t worry it won’t stain your teeth.
TURMERIC TONIC RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
2 tsp turmeric powder
4 tsp raw ginger powder
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
3 tbsp agave syrup (if desired)
1/3 cup sparkling water
cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. Pour turmeric, ginger, lemon, agave syrup (I don’t bother with the agave), and 1/3 cup water into a glass and stir.
2. Top off with more sparkling water and sprinkle with cayenne pepper, if desired.
And that’s it! It’s SO easy. You could also swap out the sparkling water and lemon for a nut milk like Almond, Cashew, or coconut and add cinnamon for a soothing warm beverage. I mean it is getting cooler so it’s not the worst idea I ever had.

Isn’t it the best?? And so healing for your mind and body.
This is so interesting! I love coffee but I’m currently trying to cut back. I’ll have to give this a try! Thanks!
Definitely a great way to give yourself some energy. You won’t get like a JOLT like coffee, but it’ll get you going. does that make sense?
Interesting… I might actually try this. Does it have a particular taste to it? (just by looking at it’s color, I feel like it would have a strong taste to it).
Turmeric is VERY vibrant, but the ginger and the fizzy water really do help cut the flavor.
