ICED MAPLE MATCHA LATTE + DARE GIVEAWAY

Is there anything more Canadian than maple syrup? As we gear up for Canada 150 I can’t help but want to share a maple syrup inspired recipe. While matcha might not be as quintessential to our Canadian history as maple syrup, it sure is the perfect little pick-me-up! And when you sweetened it naturally with maple syrup created from a 125 year tree no less – you better believe it’s delicious.

2017 marks Canada’s 150th birthday, but it is also a special year for Canadian family-owned Dare Foods celebrating its very own milestone, its 125th anniversary!

Perfectly balanced and subtly sweet my mom used to always buy them for us, these maple cookies have been a household staple in my house for years.

Dare’s history of products began with its first hand-made cookie baked in 1892. While Dare has evolved throughout the years, its commitment to Made Better food remains at the heart of everything they do.

To celebrate our 125th anniversary, Dare went deep into the heart of Quebec in search of a 125-year-old maple tree (watch video below). And after searching long and hard for the perfect maple, they found a tree as old as Dare itself and carefully collected its sap to make maple syrup for a limited-edition batch of their classic maple cookie (the ones you see here and can win for yourself).

With a hint of sweetness from the same maple syrup that’s used in the Dare Limited Edition Maple Cookies I can think of nothing better to accompany these delicious cookies than this Iced Maple Matcha Latte Recipe!
