Recently I took a quick trip to Cape Breton Island and some of you might not know this, but that’s actually where I grew up. This past weekend I went to visit some family but figured I should show you around some of my old stomping grounds.

Never been to Cape Breton? This is the time to go. It’s so beautiful, and it’s only going to get better as the weather improves. I can’t wait to go back and take a dip in the ocean eat loads more ice cream, and hopefully take a zip out on a boat!

While it took me double the time to get there I definitely made sure to capture as many of the stunning views as possible be sure to check it out.

Stay tuned for plenty more travel vlogs coming soon we’ve got a jam-packed summer itinerary.

Thanks for watching!

Love this!! A &K and Lick a Treat are favorites. We always make the trip there in the summer for ice cream and chicken!! I love living on Cape Breton and am so grateful that I can still live and raise my family where I grew up!! Great vlog 🙂

Love it Kayla! I grew up mostly in NB but was born and lived in North Sydney in my early years. My mom’s family are still in Sydney Mines and when we visit we either stay in town or at their summer home in Groves Point….so this entire video is familiar to me!
I can’t wait to head back and take my boys for a visit to Lick A Treat 🙂
    Great job!
