Local designer, Cassandra Burrell JUST opened up shop in downtown Halifax, and I’ve got the exclusive details on her grand opening!
Cassandra studied music. She immediately knew Design was her true
passion when realizing the highlight of her year at Mount Allison
University was designing for a Fashion Show. She designed evening wear
to raise money for Free the Children Organization.
on her own line in Fredericton New Brunswick. Cassandra began creating
custom one of a kind dresses for women on the East coast while attending
Brunswick, and New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. She then moved
to Vancouver to gain inspiration from the West coast. While there,
CassBurr Designs was launched and merged with Cassandra’s love for
custom designed evening wear.
on her line, CassBurr Designs; the perfect collaboration of both
beautiful coasts of Canada.
Cassandra‘s designs can easily be worn causally or elevated by pairing them with heels or accessories, so you’ll really get a lot of wear out of them. I especially love this long white “erin dress” I think it would be perfect paired with some booties, and a leather jacket.
CassBurr designs is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11-7. And if you’re local to Halifax you’re more than welcome to attend the grand opening to check it all out for yourself and make sure to take advantage of that 20% discount for your first piece. Check out the details below!
WHEN: Feb 7th, 2015 (11am – 7pm)
