What’s Playing Wednesday?

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: I love Craig Cardiff.  And I don’t just mean Twi-heart love or 50 Shades of Gray love, no this is a committed love the kind that stands the test of time and crazy fads.

Did you know that Craig Cardiff was nominated for a Juno just this past year? yep! AND he independently funded his last album? With a little help from fans and friends of course, but still! You don’t see a lot of that these days. I told you this was a committed love, and commitment and respect go hand-and-hand people. This guy actually puts his whole heart into what he does, and his sincerity is so evident when you meet him that you immediately fall in love with him again and again.

I saw Craig Cardiff perform at the Company House last year (previous blog post here), and I was really REALLY sad that I couldn’t make it this time around (stupid dance classes, kidding! well sort of). Anyway if you get the chance to see Craig Cardiff you should take it, I still listen to his songs over and over again and I never get tired of them. Seeing him in person is even better then listening profusely on my iPod and dancing like a mad fool in my apartment and/or at the bus stop, and not for the lack of fun, but because you get a backdrop to the songs with some pretty amazing story telling.
Without fail these songs turn even the ugliest days around for me, so I’m hoping they do the same for you blog reader.
Happy 1st day of August,
Sincerely,

Short Presents.
