Inspired by old hollywood voyeur cinema Khan wants to avoid his work looking artificial or too made up, and so he likes to keep the models makeup minimal and the location believable. Suggesting he’d rather that the photo look like you just “happened upon the scene” and a photo was taken at the event rather than the other way around.
