I’m like a kid in a candy store when it comes to red carpet fashion; it makes me SO happy to see all the beautiful looks, the glitz the glam the hair and the makeup.
I AM HERE FOR IT ALL.
From bold colors, to sheer, and volume realness there were certainly no shortage of drama on the red carpet for this year’s golden globes. Curious of my faves?? Be sure to watch my recap with CTV Morning Live Hosts (and my fave CTV gal pals) Ana, and Katie!

During the segment I didn’t get a chance to share the trends on the red carpet, so I’ll share a few here we can’t deny that bold color was a major trend, we saw so many bright colored dresses from reds, to powder blues, greens and pinks! Another trend was for sure volume, from sleeves, to collars (loved Awkwafina’s outfit, also well deserved big night for her), and Olivia Coleman’s gown with bold sleeves (loved this look on her).
Sheer and transparent fabrics was also a big trends so we saw a lot of delicate fabric, and romantic vibes which is a trend I can totally get behind (obvs #influenced).
Another trend I noticed was minimal makeup and effortless hair with so many stars opting for a little less glam than usual, and going fresh skin forward and minimal eye makeup like Saoirse Ronan I don’t think she was even wearing mascara (or if we was it was very subtle) as well as Margot Robbie, I have to say I liked the dialed back vibes I think she looked great!!
What I love about all of these trends is that they are SO easily to experiment with in your day-to-day wardrobe, and of course if you’re looking to test the waters my friends at Halifax Shopping Centre are always a great spot to scope out the latest!! Of course my outfit is from HSC (y’all know I basically live there lol). In case you’re interested my outfit details are below:
Thanks so much for having me CTV Morning live Atlantic, and Halifax Shopping Centre!! I could chat red carpet fashion all day long!!
Thanks for watching!
