Many will make the argument that we can simply use our phones to check the time, but for the fellas who see more than the practicality of a watch here are some spring trends to look forward to this year.
While menswear has always taken a utilitarian approach (we have seen our fair share of camouflage over the years) this season it’s all about drawing inspiration from the dawn of Aviation, and 20th Century safari. From lightweight fabrics to a muted color palette, the runway pieces were a bit “out there” so to speak, so if you’re hoping to explore this trend think: khaki field jackets, chinos and bush shirts
From the UHF Collection this Bulova watch (96B251), takes inspiration from astronaut Dave Scott’s personal Bulova chronograph worn during the Apollo 15 moon landing in 1971 (was snapped up for a record $1.625 million at a recent auction), and we think it’s the perfect piece for exploring (clothing trends or otherwise).
Did you know? Bulova
was an active partner with NASA’s space programs in the 1960s and 1970s, and
personally gifted the handmade watch to Scott for the Apollo 15 mission? Scott
was the seventh man to walk on the moon and the first to drive the Lunar Rover
on its surface. His personal Bulova chronograph—specifically customized for
lunar conditions—was used to precisely
track time, and ensure no one ran out of oxygen, water or battery power in
the portable life support system backpack! We get that your gadgets are cool. but we think watches are the perfect talking piece, and this one is drenched in history.

TREND: BOMBER JACKETS
While we're taking a trip down vintage lane this season with 50s inspired shirts, and aviation inspired clothing: the bomber jacket is a must. Whether you're pairing it with jeans, joggers, or trousers you really can't go wrong with this classic yet contemporary piece.
Originally created for military pilots, the bomber jacket, although appropriated now for popular culture clearly still takes its inspiration from aviation pilots. Powered by Bulova’s proprietary, high-performance UHF quartz movement,
with a vibrational frequency of 262kHz—eight times greater than a
standard quartz movement this watch is the perfect pairing for unparalleled accuracy.
From the UHF Precisionist Collection, this Bulova (98B270)
an athletic feel while the silver finish keeps it polished and put
together making it the perfect go-to for those in-between outfits.

TREND: ATHLESUIRE, ELEVATED
In 2015 we saw the emergence of the athleisure trend where sneakers no longer became a faux pas, and jogging pants were actually allowed to leave the house (we love these from Nike).
We must stipulate however, there is an art to perfecting this "causally put together" look, and its only getting more elevated this time around for Spring 2016. As seen here with this look from Prada Spring 2016 it is still quite a "dressy" look upon first glance, but the addition of sneakers, and the layered shirts underneath still keep is cool and causal.
Combining a sporty wrist band with luxe gold finishes and flecks of red and white, this Bulova piece (97B153),
from the Marine Star Collection
is the epitome of the athleisure trend, and we definitely approve. It'll take you from the gym to work to dinner and drinks in no time flat.

TREND: WHITE JEANS
Crisp and clean, white jeans always look polished and can effortlessly take your outfit from Spring to Summer. With the Safari trend at the forefront of Spring 2016 runways, white jeans are an easy go-to for your pull overs, tees, and button down shirts. Just like we say to the girls just be sure you choose the right under garments.
From the Marine Star Collection this Bulova watch (96B255)
combines white and sliver with hints of red to create the perfect nautical inspired watch. When we think white jeans we can't help but think: Yacht, or setting sail on a boat, and this piece invariably does the same. We think it's the perfect addition to any nautical or Spring/Summer look, and being from the East Coast this one might just be our favorite.

Shades of green dominated the Spring 2016 runway, from Burburry to Calvin Klein to Canali green, and olive green in particular made a prominent appearance at fashion week, and especially in combination with other shades of green. Bottom line whether it's trousers, a shirt, a jacket, or a bag green is a for sure win this Spring.
While everything else is green we figured we'd take it down a notch, and give you something that you could wear with all that green, and your neutrals too! The combination of yellow gold, and silver in this Bulova watch (98B273)
make it the perfect piece to wear with shades of green, while the gray colored face keeps it perfectly polished.
Powered by Bulova’s proprietary, high-performance UHF quartz movement, with a vibrational frequency of 262kHz—eight times greater than a standard quartz movement for unparalleled accuracy. From the UHF Precisionist Collection, in stainless steel with silver-
