I couldn’t be more happy with my choice in purchasing this jacket. When I saw it store (Dynamite) back in October I literally stopped in my tracks dropped all my bags (I’d done some serious damage at that point) and oohed and ahhed at its perfection. I loved the color (had been looking for one FOR EVER), and the faux fur hood, and the beautiful clasps for toggles? I knew it had to be mine, but I’d spent so much money already that day that it was a tough pill to swallow. 

In the end I did decide to get it, despite having a plethora of other coats I could wear. But in actuality I hadn’t purchased a coat in a number of years, and I vowed to sell my others at a consignment shop. It’s funny the things we tell ourselves to rationalize retail purchases haha! I’m sure I’m not the only one. 

Clearly my lusting won me over, but I’m actually SO happy that it did because I adore this coat, and it’s pretty much the only thing getting me through this wretched winter. In addition to the coat I’ve been wearing this plaid shirt from H&M quite steadily. Is anyone else embracing their flannels and the sweaters right now?

I feel like anything over-sized is my go-to right now. I just want to be cozy and comfortable (lord knows that with all this weather we haven’t been able to go far so getting dressed up seems a little silly).  Who wants to come over and watch girly movies and eat storm chips?
