Sorry Ana Wintour I know you mentioned that the one thing you’d never be caught in, is head to toe black, but I can’t help myself I love it. Again I think I’m still hanging on to my American Horror Story Coven influence because I can NOT get enough.
Wearing all black does have its struggles, and it can definitely go wrong very easily, but the things you want to think about are texture. When layering plenty of black just make sure to choose different fabrics like leather, suede, or wool like I’ve done here.
As you know I am obsessed with this skirt from Banana and I pretty much want to wear it everyday, but I love the idea of wearing it in different ways. The midi skirt is super feminine all on its own, but feel free to add interesting pieces to make it a little more modern. Clearly this hat is a favorite among mine, and it instantly adds some visual interest, and helps pull the skirt away from a 50s housewife look. It’s all about taking classic pieces and making them modern and fun again. Don’t you just love fashion?
