MOROCCANOIL BODY: A REVIEW

So we all know Moroccanoil for their amazing hair products, but did you know they also have a line of body products too? I know! Amazing right?! Now you can share the Moroccanoil love with the rest of your body. Recently I got to test drive the cleansing bar, shower gel, and hand cream, and here’s what I’ve got to say…

MOROCCANOIL BODY SHOWER GEL

With antioxidant‐rich argan oil that hydrates skin as it cleanses. The highly concentrated yet mild formula is said to “work immediately to restore skin’s optimal moisture balance, improving elasticity, texture, and tone”.

Suitable for all skin types, Moroccanoil Body Shower Gel can be used in the shower daily. Apply to wet skin, work into a rich lather, and rinse off using warm water.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Argan Oil ‐ extremely rich in natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), essential fatty acids and anti‐oxidants, this 100% natural oil helps to hydrate and nourish the skin improving its texture and tone.

Glycerin – a humectant that helps increase skin’s elasticity and provides long lasting moisture.

VERDICT: smells super fresh, and lathers well! This product didn’t leave a sticky or filmy residue, and my skin did not feel dry after, but rather super hydrated and soft.

MOROCCANOIL HAND CREAM

Okay so we love how our hair feels when we apply our Moroccanoil products, so you can imagine how this stuff makes your hands feel! And it smells SO good!

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Argan oil – Extremely rich in natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), essential fatty acids and anti-oxidants, this 100% natural oil helps to hydrate and nourish the skin improving its texture and tone.

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter and Avocado Butter – natural emollients that improve the overall shine, softness and strength of skin for deep, long lasting moisture.

VERDICT: This is the star product in this line! I absolutely adore this hand cream! I LOVE the smell I kept smelling my hands after applying it because I loved it so much. It absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy! I loved it!! Hands down my favorite of the three products.

MOROCCANOIL CLEANSING BAR

Moroccanoil Cleansing Bar “unites healing, deeply reparative argan oil and lush shea butter to wrap skin in essential antioxidants and an abundance of vital moisture”.

Gentle enough to be integrated into a daily routine for all skin types. Simply massage the bar between hands to form a rich lather and apply liberally to warm, wet skin in the shower or bath. Cleanse and rinse off thoroughly with warm water while indulging in the Mediterranean aromatics of the signature Moroccanoil fragrance. The result? Soft, cared-for skin that is never dry.

VERDICT: I do prefer the shower gel to the cleansing bar, but that’s just my personal preference. I never purchase bars of soap mostly because I just don’t want to clean up after them. My mother on the other hand she swears by cleansing bars, so it really just comes down to personal preference. And what is cool about the Moroccanoil cleansing bar is that it contains ingredients to help prevent odor and perspiring! Who doesn’t want that?

OVERALL…

I really enjoyed these products. I would say that I’m definitely a huge fan. The smell is amazing, you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere tropical, and at this time of year who doesn’t want that? The products really do hydrate your skin, and I’m obsessed with that hand cream!
