Homemade Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt

There are several foods that say Fall to me, but pumpkin and cinnamon certainly say it the loudest. I know that frozen treats really aren’t at the top of your typical fall food list, but this recipe is still a must try! So go throw on a big cozy sweater and get ready for a delicious guilt-free, easy to prepare, fall fat-free treat.

With its high protein and lack of aspartame, Greek yogurt is a great way to keep you fuller longer with out all the chemicals. After dinner I am always looking for a tasty treat; and there’s no way out of it without giving in. With only 4 ingredients, this recipe is very easy, and can be prepared on a whim. Because I don’t have an ice cream maker (probably for the best) I just put the combined ingredients in the freezer, and kept stirring until it was ready!

*Recipe discovered on Pinterest, but can be found here

Ingredients:
1 Cup Greek yogurt
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 tbs honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until everything is mixed together. If you have an ice cream maker churn the mixture in an ice cream maker for a few minutes until it is smooth and cold.

If you don’t have an ice cream maker (like me) just put your mixture in the freezer and stir the mixture every half hour until it reaches the desired constancy.

Happy Tuesday!!
Much love,
