VALENTINE’S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR THE MAN IN YOUR LIFE

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate the love you have for that special person in your life. Because this day is more about the love you share with another person, I’ve always believed the best gift is just sharing the day together. Whether that’s connecting at a restaurant over a candlelight dinner, or a home-cooked meal by the fireplace.

But, spending Valentine’s Day together is just not always possible for some couples. In cases like this, and even if you are spending it together, it’s sometimes nice to pick up a little something for your partner just to show them that you were thinking of them. This can be a gift to make their life easier, something to help them recharge, or just a little something simple that you think they’d like or need.

Obviously, when it comes to Valentine’s Day the thought behind the gift means everything (really any gift should have thought, but with Valentine’s Day it’s doubly important), and that means understanding your partner.

Most people would agree – buying for men is hard. They either have everything, or they say they don’t need anything lol. So on that note, I decided to put together a list of some great gift ideas for men this Valentine’s Day. Most of these gifts can be had for under $200 (and a few much cheaper than that) so I’m sure you’ll find something regardless of your budget!

Bellroy Slim Sleeve (Designers Edition) Wallet

Most men out there could benefit from a wallet upgrade, and no company out there today offers a nicer wallet than Bellroy. Bellroy offers a host of different wallet styles with some really neat features (including RFID protection!).  I’m particularly fond of their Designer Edition wallets that are made with a phenomenally soft European leather and a real attention to detail.

Jaybird X4 Bluetooth Headphones

You’d be hard pressed to find a guy out there who isn’t a fan of music of some type. These Jaybird headphones are a great way to enjoy them in style, while keeping you cord free. The battery on these lasts for 8-hours, and it comes with a customizable EQ app for your smartphone to satisfy even the biggest audiophile in your life.

Books / Bob Dylan – Seeing The Real You At Last

As a former teacher I love gifting books! Not only are they a way to help learn something new, while relaxing and unwinding, but with so much variety out there you’re bound  to find one that interests your man (no pun intended lol). If you want to go a step further, consider picking up a Amazon Kindle. It will let your man carry around a collection of books easily on his commute, while traveling, etc.

Persol 3204S Sunglasses

There are a few accessories out there that every guy should make the investment in (or in this case, you can do it for him!). Sunglasses are definitely one of those accessories. They’ll help your man keep his 20/20 vision in style. Also, did you know that wearing sunglasses (and sunscreen) in winter is just as important as it is in summer. The days are shorter, but the sun can still damage your eyesight or skin just as easily!

Biotherm Homme Moisterizer & Jack Black Shave Cream

So here’s two gift ideas that most men aren’t rushing out to buy for themselves (but that they should be!). Help your man protect his skin with a quality shave cream and moisturizer. These two options from Biotherm & Jack Black are my mans go-to, but they offer lots of options depending upon your skin type and whether your man is a regular shaver or likes to rock a beard.

FitBit Charge 2

It’s no secret that most of us have made some promises to ourselves to stay fit this time of year. If your man is someone who likes to stay in shape, or who is making the commitment to get in shape, the FitBit can help on that journey.

I hope you found this post helpful in finding the right gift for your special someone! And..

Have a great Valentine’s Day!!

xx
