VIDEO TUTORIAL: MY TRAVEL MAKEUP ROUTINE

Packing for a trip can be STRESSFUL enough but when it comes to makeup I go for my tried and trues, and use products that can do double duty. Recently while I was traveling I decided to film myself doing my makeup because I’m always getting questions from you guys on what I bring with me when I travel.  While I wish I could bring my entire kit with me, that’s just not reasonable so here’s a quick little run down of what I like to bring, and what I actually use.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Laneige Essence

Make sure to pat into your skin when you apply, as it needs the warmth and pressure to work it’s magic. The one featured in the video is from the hydrating trial kit. I love all the items from this little trial I recently used them all while I was in Toronto and it was great pre and post flying.

Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart

Y’all know this sunscreen has a special place in my heart,  not only is it SPF 50 it also prevents your skin against environmental stressors. I also like the size, as it fits effortlessly in my carry one ziploc.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow

I’ve used this foundation a few times while traveling, and not only do I love the coverage, feel and texture of the foundation it’s pretty impressive in terms of wear as well. I’ve worn this product sun up to sun down, and it was great.

Dermablend Concealer Stick in 10N

I love this concealer stick it offers some really great light weight coverage, and applying it is super easy (I just use my ring ringers). I also love that it’s not liquid because it’s one less thing that I need to worry about with my carry on. I also love this product so much that I’m almost out (which when you use as many products as I do you know that I like it because I finish it). I was, however, really pushing my luck bringing it with me I just made it. I really need to pick up another.

L’Oreal True Match Powder

I love this powder I use it all year long and I recommend it over and over again I love how it sits on top of foundation. In winter I’m a W2 and summer W3 for reference.

Lise Watier Bronzer- In Shade Havana

I love this product so much, it’s super pigmented so a little goes a long way which is good because I’m going to need to replace this one asap.

Make Up For Ever Blush in Rosewood

Super longwear I know if I use this Make Up For Ever Blush in am I’m good to go all day long. I have the duo compact too so it’s super slim.

Pixie Weylie Demensional Eye Shadow Palette

I use the lightest shadow as a highlight so I don’t bother packing one. I also love the color range I like to mix it up and I find there’s just enough colors to keep it interesting day-to-night with this palette.

Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Brow Palette

My brows are microbladed (learn more about my experience here) but I love to add a little powder for some added pigment. I love this Make Up For Ever Pro Brow Palette ( I usually blend both the darkest and second darkest color).

L’Oreal Volumious Mascara

I totally didn’t realized I used so many L’Oreal products until I made this video, and guys I bought all these products myself. #Sponsorme L’Oreal ?? Jokes aside I’ve been using this mascara since I started wearing makeup I find it builds so well and doesn’t bleed especially on humid days.

Kiss Scandal Cushion Lipstick

Love this color, and texture of the lipstick. It’s very hydrating so perfect pre and post flights that dry your lips out.

Sephora Setting Spray

A great price, I believe I have a travel size, but it’s super so great for carry-on. What I love about this product is that it helps prevent your makeup from sliding right off (key for humid days or long travel days), and you can also use it throughout the day to refresh and hydrate as well without messing up your makeup.

Hope you found this post helpful! Stay tuned for some really exciting travel content coming up over the next few weeks. I’m really cramming in as much as I can into what’s left of summer.

xx
