With the warmer temperatures (hopefully just around the corner) it can be a struggle to know what to pack if you’re heading away for the weekend. With the help from my friends at Roots, and the anticipation of their new store opening at Halifax Shopping Centre I stopped by Global Morning and chatted all things fashion for the long weekend.

From versatile dresses, backpacks and sunnies Roots really has so much to offer, and I’m so excited about their new store opening its really going to be amazing.

Opening May 31, and the new Roots Halifax store will feature digital integration, custom design options, and even it’s very own leather workshop!

The inside of the store is also being built with locally sourced wood. How cool is that?? I’m so excited to check all the new custom features. From choosing your hardware, patches, fabric colors, and even embossing there’s so many ways to personalize your favorite Roots items.

Thanks so much to my lovely models Mimi (City Models), Lillie (Numa Models), and Shuoxin (City Models) and of course Roots for all the clothing for our segment. I’m pretty sure I sold myself on these outfits lol now I want them all too.
