OOTD: WHAT TO WEAR ON A ROAD TRIP

Telus

Recently I took a quick road trip to family in Cape Breton, and I though it would be fun to share with you what I wore in the car because I’m kind of ob-sessed with these pieces.

Minimal in nature don’t let them fool you because when it comes to travel I am ALL about comfort. Okay so you all know I’m a little more than having a pink moment right now, so of course I’m just dying to wear this pink faux leather jacket I picked up from Dynamite.

I love wearing a leather jacket for traveling in the car because I find it warm enough without the bulky feel, and they typically tend to be the thing you can just throw on with anything: meaning you can also wear it on your trip!

AND if that’s not enough you can easily take it off if you get too warm, see what I’m talking about here?? It’s a win. What I love about this Dynamite one in particular, is that the arms are backed with a stretchy fabric rather than faux leather, so it’s extraaaaaaaaaa comfortable.  Did I mention it’s pink??  This cream one is also super cute tho.

High waisted, the Lululemon Align Pant (if you don’t have them already) are the softest pair of lulus on the market. I’ve actually been thinking about picking up another pair in the wine color or the green. If you don’t have them already definitely consider it; I wear these pants like clockwork (both for lounging and exercise), and I’ve had them for years.

Pro tip: wash them in a lingerie garment bag in cold with like colors. You might also want to try a size down from your regular lulu lemon pants because they are super soft and stretchy. For me I find the size 4 perfect (holds everything nicely in place).

This is not sponsored, but I love the store Ardene’s!!! I find the cutest things in there, and I’m not even going to apologize for shopping there even if I’m definitely NOT in high school anymore, because I LOVE it! So this t-shirt (totally adorbs right?) well I think I paid like $7 or something for it?? And it’s is ridiculously soft and looks/feels oh so vintage to me I love it.

We probably should also talk about my new favorite travel companion (Telus) recently I made the switch and guys I’m not looking back. Usually I NEVER have coverage on the way to Cape Breton, but I this time I didn’t miss a trick. And how cute is that custom Short Presents Pop Sockit??? Travis got it for me for Christmas and it matches my new Kate Spade case PERFECTLY it makes me sooooo happy  ~ a few of you reached out about purchasing one, so I might need to make that happen.

Shout out also to Kelly McNeil of Thumpers for this perfect hair ! Before heading out to CB on Thursday I stopped in for a much needed refresh. Have y’all heard of a bleach wash?? Game Changer for balyage hair. EEP! so grateful for her and her wonderfully innovative ways.

Also I don’t feel like I need to walk you through why chucks are amazing, bc duh, but for me they are a win because this grandma can fit her custom orthodics in them, and my heels don’t pop out, so be prepared to see me 90 years old still rockin’ em!
