Each day we take 20,000 breaths and we tend to believe that indoor air is better than outside air but in actuality, inside air pollution can be up to five times worse, and can be triggered by things you might not even consider harmful.

We spend so much time indoors now, and alot of the things we use everyday can actually be pretty harmful for us to breathe in. Including gas stoves, scented candles, carpets, cleaning supplies and air fresheners. I know right? Who knew?

Recently I’ve been becoming more and more aware of the air quality in my home (and especially in my bedroom while I sleep). I mean, ideally we should be spending 8 hours uninterupted in there, so it’s really important to make sure it’s as healthy is possible.

I’ve been familar with Dyson products, and their super cool bladeless fans have always attracted my attention. I mean they would be so ideal if you had little kids around.

So you can imagine my excitement when Dyson reached out for a review. I’ll be honest I actually had no idea they sold products that not only heated, and cooled but also purified the air!

The Dyson Hot+Cool Link automatically monitors, reacts and purifies and sends the reports of your home’s air quality straight to the Dyson Link App so you can remotely control your home environment.

This is one of the coolest things because the Dyson is actually SO clever. Whenever I spray things like hairspray, or I cook something extra stinky it’s smart enough to boost it’s self up to help counteract it! I honestly think it’s the best thing! And the app information is SUPER handy.

 

I’ve been using my Dyson purifier for the past couple weeks, and I honestly can say I notice the difference.

I love that it heat and cools while it purifies. And I have to say it’s been great to have during the warm humid summer nights we’ve been having lately. There’s nothing worse than trying to sleep when you feel sticky and gross. So I really have (a) been feeling more comfortable while sleeping and (b) happy to know the air quality is much better.

As mentioned above, it automatically will adjust to the needs in your space. I love how sophisicated the Dyson is. You can set it and forget it! Which I really think is much better for the environment because rather than running full tilt all the time, it only runs when necessary. Saving both energy and your filter.
