SPRING STYLING WITH PANDORA JEWELLERY + HOW TO WEAR A TUTU SKIRT

As a dancer, bodysuits, tutu skirts, and eye-catching earrings are a pretty regular thing for me, but I understand this isn’t always the case for everyone else. There’s something about these pieces that warrant a little bit of finesse to ensure you don’t look like you’re late for rehearsal.

Recently I wore this outfit to my friend’s engagement party, and I CANNOT tell you how many people complimented me on it, but also mentioned that they wished they could wear a tutu skirt! Trust me if I can do it, you can do it.

HOW TO WEAR A TUTU SKIRT

If you want to look dolled up grab yourself a tutu skirt and a pair of heels and you’re good to go. The piece in and of its self, adds drama.

Make it look purposeful: If your outfit is cohesive it’s going to look like you put some effort into thus, reinforcing it was no accident you hauled out your puffy skirt today.

Opt for or fitted top: A tutu skirt is very full, so you’ll want something to pull that waist in to accentuate your hourglass figure.

Add tomboy touches: From converse sneakers to a printed tee feel free to add more traditional “boyish” pieces to tone down the girliness.

Consider a crop top: Another great way to show off that you’re little in the middle is to opt for a crop top! See this previous post.

Opt for a fitted Blouse: If you want a more polished look, opt for a fitted blouse.

Monochrome: There’s something about a head-to- toe look that removes some of the drama  (or focus) from this ultra full skirt. See previously style post here.

Toss on a fun jacket: Whether it’s a leather or suede jacket, a moto jacket is a great way to instantly add edge to this extremely feminine skirt. (See this previous post).

Consider the color. When purchasing your tutu skirt avoid the traditional ballet pink colors, or anything too childish. I tend to stay away from super bright colors like bubble gum pink or turquoise. Also, see this diamond encrusted gray tulle skirt in this previous post here.

Accessorize: You’re not going to wear all your elegant pieces of jewelry or your favorite little purse to dance class, so opting for accessories that scream elegance like this blush pink purse, or the Melrose Daniel Wellington or these beautiful stacked rings from Pandora will tell the world you mean business.

Speaking of accessories PANDORA JEWELLERY just recently launched their Spring Collection that expands on the charm bracelets that made the brand so popular. Offering necklaces, rings, and earrings that are designed to be layered and stacked, however, you see fit!

PANDORA JEWELLERY  knows that you want pieces that reflect who you are, so they’ve been working tirelessly to create a wide variety of pieces that will perfectly represent your personality. For instance, I LOVE the new rose gold pieces from the Spring Collection I think they are so youthful, but classic at the same time. But I also like mixing rose gold with silver, so I opted for the Sparkling Bow ring to pair with the Inspiration Within rose gold ring to match the Timeless Elegance earrings. It’s so easy to match the pieces together while also still staying very much true to myself and what I like to wear.

Perfectly dainty, and so pretty, the best part about the PANDORA JEWELLERY pieces is that they actually fit! With a size 4 ring size, it’s been less than easy for me to find something that actually is cute and trendy, but also fits and won’t tarnish quickly.

I’m so happy with my PANDORA JEWELLERY pieces I can’t wait to wear them endlessly.

I don’t know about you blog reader, but I am oh so happy that Spring is finally here! I’m definitely ready to shed some layer and step into some fun and flirty looks again.

Happy Friday!

xx
