COLD SHOULDER

Arguably one of summer’s hottest trends was the “off the shoulder” or
“cold shoulder” shirt, and naturally like EVERY one else on the planet I
fell victim to its charm. As well my obsession for fringe black bags continues to gain momentum…

Featured Items:

Jeans, c/o Gap.
Top, Garage (similar here and here ).
Strappy Bra, c/o Aritzia (similar). Hat, Joe Fresh.
Bag, c/o Winners.
Watch,  c/o Bulova.

Shoes, Khols
Despite that the cool weather of autumn is
about to roll in I don’t plan on getting rid of this shirt anytime soon.
I’ll just swap out my denim shorts or some jeans, and I’m good to go.  I have to admit I’m kind of excited about these jeans. While I was touring around Toronto with Airmiles back in July I was thinking I’d love a pair of high waisted skinny black jeans (with distressed knees) yes I know my wishes are VERY specific, but I reeeeeeally wanted them okay.
I popped into Gap on Queen, and low and behold I found the perfect pair. I hauled about 10 different pairs of jeans into the fitting room with me because I wanted some “options”, but I literally tried on “the 1969 destructed resolution true skinny high rise jeans” and they fit like a glove, so I didn’t even bother trying on the others. I was instantly (and still am) in love. And remember that if you purchase them online you can gain airmiles by downloading the “shopping tool” toolbar into your browser!

While I’m sad to see August go (it is my birthday month after all) and summer (WAHH!!!) having cute “fall” inspired clothes kind of makes it just that little bit more okay to move towards cooler temps.

As we prepare to “transition” what pieces are you loving right now blog reader? tweet me @shortpresents or comment below!
