in HALIFAX. To kick things off I caught up with another local blogger for a super fun shoot at some of our favorite local spots.
In honor of the impending summer season I chose this adorable
Talula Cosimo black dress that I presume will be my summer uniform. I was immediately drawn to its strappy open back, and deep v neckline, as well it’s slightly longer length. It’s so comfortable, and this neckline I mean it’s pushing some boundaries no? I love that could wear it with flats, booties, and all my summer sandals.
If you follow me on instagram (@shortpresents) you know that I was trying to decide between the Cosimo black dress, and the
Hymne white dress. After much deliberation (and I mean MUCH) I only went with the black because of the front lol I REALLY loved both and honestly I could have easily made use of both dresses for different reasons because they are both beautiful. I might have to get the white one at a later date lol
I’ve been meaning to add another trench to my wardrobe. There’s something about a trench that screams effortlessly classic to me (I mean Holly Golightly anyone?), and I love the relaxed fit of this one! I look forward to getting a lot of use out of this light weight coat.
Fringe is arguably the largest trend of the summer, but I love how sophisticated this bag is! It’s a great combo of boho and classic that I know I won’t tire of it. It’s so funny that Elle and I didn’t coordinate our looks at all, but clearly we are on the same page because we ended up choosing a lot of the same items just in different colors (even our coffee’s were black and white I guess we had a theme). We had to laugh at each other when we were talking about the items we chose for the shoot.
