COBALT

short presents

When you think of David’s Bridal you might be limited in thinking of only bridal attire, but you might be surprised to learn that they have a great selection of cocktail dresses that are perfect for a multitude of occasions.

Fashion blogger, canadian fashion, style blogger, style, outfits, outfit ideas,

Featured Items: Dress, c/o David’s Bridal (available in multiple colors here). Watch. c/o Daniel Wellington. Necklace, Forever 21. Earrings, Claires. Jacket, Boots, and Clutch, c/o Le Chateau. Photos c/o Mo Handahu (Lion-Hunter Blog).
You might remember this dress from the David’s Bridal grand opening at Dartmouth Crossing that I attended with my blogger babes back in the summer (view that post here), and while I adore this dress for a fancy affair (pop on some heels and go) I also love the idea of dressing it down too.
To toughen up the look a little I’ve paired this brightly colored dress with some textured pieces like this quilted leather jacket, and black booties from Le Chateau, and I’m really quite happy with the result. I would totally rock this look on a date (and have), and feel like a million bucks!
If you’re looking a for a great dress for Valentine’s Day or your next hot date don’t be limited to your mall brands (as great as they are); take a pop out to David’s Bridal (located at Dartmouth Crossing) and invest in a classic silhouette that you can wear again and again.
What are you wearing for Valentine’s Day? Do you go out? Or do you boycott it altogether?

Happy Friday,
