Discovering Spring with Vince Camuto + GIVEAWAY

Recently I have partnered up with the lovely folks at Vince Camuto for another exciting challenge. You might remember last year that I participated in the “Step up and Style Contest” where I was actually chosen as “runner up”! This time around I am participating in their “Discovering Spring” Campaign by showcasing my favorite local hot spot and offering you lovely blog readers a chance to win the Vince Camuto fragrance just sharing yours as well. This gorgeous blouse featured above is the “Utility Shirt” (119$ – Available at Samuel & Co) from the Two by Vince Camuto Collection. This very versatile blouse comes in several different colors: Vibrant Rose (seen here), Colbalt, and Antique White. It’s on high rotation in my closet lately, and so it was difficult to choose how I wanted to showcase it to you blog reader because I literally want to wear it everyday. Since it’s not “offically” Spring (at least in terms of weather) here in Halifax this was the best I could do to give you a Spring preview. Once the weather gets nicer, and my poor legs don’t freeze off; I’ll look forward to styling this shirt with some floral/printed skirts, and most likely some open toed scandals w/ metallics! 

In order to participate I had to style and photograph the “utility shirt” at my favorite local hot spot, so naturally I chose none other than Java Blend Coffee Roasters! I love this little place so much! I very frequently pop in to grab a double cappuccino; can you believe they are only 3$? At Java Blend you can rest assure that you are getting a quality cup of coffee and/or espresso. 

Did you know that Java Blend has been open since 1938? I think they might know a thing or two about a good cup of joe, and also about bringing a sense of community into their business. I love that the staff here are very friendly, but also very knowledgeable; at Java Blend they sample, roast, and taste every cup before they purchase anything to be sold in house. So after freezing my tail off shooting these photos for you blog reader I just HAD to head inside for a cup of java!
