The Black Sheep

What I’m Wearing: Black Maxi and Cropped Tweed Jacket: Black Sheep (borrowed) | Dena Booties: c/o Vince Camuto | Bag: Christopher Kon c/o HSC | Tights: Dynamite | Sunnies: Ray Ban |

I’m am typically the one going against the herd, not necessarily on purpose or because I didn’t get the memo, but because as I’ve gotten older I’ve seemed to become more and more comfortable just being myself.

It’s sort of selfish in a way I suppose because I’ve begun to not care about what people think about how I dress. I’ve simply just become okay with wearing what I want despite funny stares from onlookers.

That is why I love this brand Black Sheep because the premise of their line is a similar mentality I hold myself: “The Black Sheep women exudes eccentricity, ignites adventure, and radiates confidence in her way of life. She stays true to herself, and her dreams and her fearless pursuit of happiness, whatever that may be. She embraces the future as an empty book awaiting to be filled with unexpected dreams and adventures, and welcomes the unknown“.

Recently I had the opportunity to view part of their summer 2013 line, and I literally loved everything on the rack! For more on this brand check out their story by clicking here: Black Sheep Clothing

For this week’s Style Panel question with Fashion Magazine we were asked to give advice about wearing printed tights (succesffuly). To see my answer click here; the remainder of the photos are the ones you see above.

Happy Friday,
Sincerely,
Short Presents
