Below are some of my dinner plate photos from the last month or so while out and about in Halifax NS. I’ve prepared a little cliffnotes version of some places we’ve been with some suggestions of where to go, and what to order.
Rogue’s Roost – Veggie Burger w/ sweet potato fries – Best in Halifax handsdown.
Saege Bistro – Mushroom pizza w/ goat cheese – 10$ Pasta and Pizza on Wednesdays, both are to die for.
Hart & Thistle – Quinoa Salad – delicious, but small portion.
Hart & Thistle – Veggie Burger w/ sweet potato fries – burger was not my favorite, it was really messy with WAY too much carbs. Would not order again.
Sweet Here After – Caramel Cheesecake – Must go for anyone with a sweet tooth. Vegan and gluten free options avialable; try the vegan peanut butter.
Piatto – Artichoke and Olive Pizza – Pizza is comparable to NYC and we can’t wait to go back again and try everything they have to offer.
This should help you (at least a little) when trying to decide where to go and what to have while out and about this weekend.

The qinoa (sp?) salad looks great. Do you already have a recipe for that up? Would love a simple one to follow (mostly because i have no innate cooking talent).
