Atlantic Fashion Week is a major fashion event in Halifax Nova Scotia. Atlantic Fashion week is responsible for putting Halifax back on the fashion map. Six seasons in, Atlantic Fashion week has really come along way! With two full nights of local fashion designs scheduled to hit the runway; we are well on our way to dispelling the notion that there is no fashion scene here.
There is a misconception that fashion stops East of Montreal, but I can 100% attest that amazing fashion does exist here right in our backyard. I see a lot of people sporting some really interesting clothes just walking around the city; and it’s obvious they’ve got good taste, so why couldn’t people here create them? .
After about a year of blogging about fashion, and attending some of the local events I can honestly say that the fashion scene here is really emerging into something quite fabulous; we just need to support and nurture it.
Recently I attended the media launch at Casino Nova Scotia presented by Foster Mobile to kick off Atlantic Fashion Week sixth season of showcasing local fashion. Below are some photos c/o Alterego Photography from the event.

Really looking forward to this event. With itinerary in hand the bigger question remains what am I going to wear? double yikes! I hope it doesn’t rain!
