Tutu Obsessed with Dance

For a promotional shoot for Fancy Lucky Vintage we decided to do a dance inspired photo shoot.  I spent the entire afternoon out at Seaforth location with a full rack of ethereal outfits and two amazing ladies. I leaped and spun around the studio in hopes of getting a couple good dance shots. The photos above are are the results, and I hope you like them as much I liked creating them blog reader.
Dance is such a huge part of my life, I’m always apologizing for not being able to attend things because “I have dance”.  It’s actually amazing how quickly dance became a part of my life; I never started until I was in my last year of high school, but it’s never too late to start something new blog readers! If I can do it, so can you.
Dance, however is now over for the semester, and so I will rely on things like photo shoots, and weekend afternoons on my own in the dance studio to get my dance fix. Luckily the ladies at Fancy Lucky Vintage are also obsessed with dance, and so I get to prance around in tutu’s and flowy clothing while exploring my favorite dance positions.
What are some of your favorite ways to exercise blog reader? or an even better question what is something you’ve ALWAYS wanted to try, but haven’t had the guts to do it yet??
Looking forward to more shoots like these ๐Ÿ™‚
Happy Friday Fashionistas
PS: Stay tuned for photos from the dance recital! coming soon.

I miss the feeling of dancing ballet, I took adult classes for a while back in London but then 'life' got in the way. I like to work out with pilates because of the dance principles it uses. That's my half way measure and it reminds me to work on my core which also protects my back.

I have been saying for ages that I should learn another language. Haven't got round to it yet but watch this space!

Fabulous images – I will never forget my first tute ๐Ÿ™‚

Aw Melissa I'm so happy that you've danced your entire life; I wish I had had the chance. There are some things that my body just can't do as an adult, but I try to hold my own otherwise. Do you have some photos of your dancing? I'd love to see some!

    SOTC

Pilates is also a really great way to work out, I'd love to take some classes in the city, but I just find it to be very expensive. How do you find the prices in NYC?

What language would you like to speak? I took some French in Junior High (7-9) and then again in University… I really noticed when I went to Paris how much you really need to keep working on it because you lose it SO incredibly fast. I held my own, but there was some laughter.

I'd love to learn Italian I just think it's so beautiful. I think I would love to go there for my next big adventure; now to stop buying shoes and save my pennies lol ๐Ÿ™‚

PS: this was a makeshift tutu, but I would love to have a real one to call my own. Some of the girls made some for a dance this year, and I think it might be worth a shot. Maybe a DIY post coming along shortly ๐Ÿ™‚
