Pocket Full of Sunshine

The topic that is on everyone’s tongues lately: the weather. A fluke heat wave made it’s way through Halifax this past week, and it’s really unleashed my love for summer and summer clothes.  I love summer for so many reasons, and having summer in March even just for one day is enough to make me happy. It’s amazing what a little sunshine and skirt wearing weather can do for your energy level.
So many people are heading off to vacations this time of year, and coming back all bronzed up and bushy tailed, and I’m not going to lie I am slightly envious, but I’ll take what I can get. Even if that means sitting out on my balcony sipping on a Gin and Fresca or lounging around on the commons soaking up some rays.
The photos above are taken from my FLV shoot ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought the bright flowy 70’s inspired dress was very apropos for today’s Fashion Friday post. Found here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/95718093/vintage-beach-cover-up-tropicana-1970s
Hope you are all enjoying the weather because who knows how long it will last.
Happy Friday!

It got warmer in NYC this week too and yes I was also eyeing up my summer wardrobe. What a great shoot! And yes I can see the dress is inspired by the 70s but they had some amazing prints and flowing silhouettes then. Looks fabulous on you!
