Unfortunately this looks much better than it tasted. Too much sauce, and not enough vegetables left this pasta overwhelmed along with my waitress who was largely unimpressed that I dropped my knife twice, only to have to come all the way over to our table to replace it.
I know that we are all people and we have our own stories, but when you are in the serving business you do need to push these things aside. The waitress also overcharged us an extra 15 dollars for our meal. It wouldn’t have been so bad if she hadn’t suggested that this was their best dish. The scallops were really good, but I like some pasta and veggies with my scallop linguine please!
Jane’s On the Commons aside, sometimes I feel that the only way to get a vegetable out of Halifax’s restaurants is to order a salad, and even then don’t forget to ask for it on the side or else its drowning in dressing.
Overall I give Jane’s a pass, the waitress was brass, and the was food okay. Sorry Jane’s these little cookies were good and the biscuits too, but they weren’t enough to butter us up :S

Worst food ever! Why is this place still in business?
I've deffinitely had worse food, I think we just caught them on a bad night. It happens.
